Garcinia is a small to medium-sized tree that grows in India and Southeast Asia. The fruit rind contains the chemical hydroxycitric acid (HCA) and is used to make medicine. Don't confuse garcinia with Garcinia hanburyi (gamboge resin).
People try garcinia for weight loss and exercise performance, but there is no strong evidence to support these uses and using it can be unsafe.

Directions For Garcinia Cambogia: Take 1 serving 1 to 3 times daily. Consume between meals, 30-45 minutes before workouts, and/or immediately after workouts.
